Our Legacy
The Osprey Flyfishers is the second oldest fly fishing club in the province of British Columbia. Founded in 1969 and registered under the Societies Act, we have been a cornerstone of the Lower Mainland's fly fishing community for over half a century.
Mission & Objectives
- To bring together individuals interested in the sport of fly fishing
- To create a spirit of fellowship and cooperation through active participation in the sport of fly fishing
- To support all aspects of recreation and conservation in its programs
Club Gatherings
General Business Meeting
Held on the second Wednesday of each month, featuring guest speakers covering topics from conservation and photography to equipment and exotic fishing destinations.
Method Sessions
Held on the third Wednesday, these sessions focus on technical skills: fly fishing techniques, casting demonstrations, and fly tying workshops.
